Hailing from Melbourne, Australia, Kitty Jane

is a powerhouse in the pole dance world. With a background as a competitive artistic gymnast in her teens, it wasn’t until 2017—at age 33—that she discovered her undeniable passion for

pole dance coaching and performance. Since then, she’s been unstoppable, claiming titles like

Miss Pole Dance Victoria (2022), Exotic Generation Australian & World Champion in Hardstyle, and most recently, FloorPlay Professional Champion.

When she’s not lighting up the stage, Kitty is sharing her expertise with students across the globe. She runs her own private studio in Melbourne, specializing in online classes, tutorials, and performance coaching, giving dancers everywhere exclusive access to her signature pole and floorwork techniques. Whether you’re looking to refine your skills, build strength, or unleash your fiercest performance yet, Kitty brings the heat and expertise to take your pole journey to the next level.

With a foundation in 15 years of ballet and

9 years of self-taught exotic movement, Kathryn Moorhead—better known as Pole Kitten—is a force of nature in the pole dance world. Combining the elegance of ballet with the raw power of exotic pole, she has captivated audiences across the globe. Kathryn began dancing in clubs in 2016, officially stepping into the pole industry in 2020, and has since performed at renowned international events. Since 2021, she has traveled the world, teaching, judging competitions, and showcasing her unmatched artistry. Competitive Achievements:

"As an instructor, I believe in blending safety with creativity, ensuring every student grows with confidence. My goal is to guide, inspire, and ignite the fire in the next generation of pole artists."

Meet Your Host: Sonder Opia

The name Sonder Opia was chosen with intention, reflecting the emotions that shape my journey as a dancer.

Sonder: The realization that every passerby is living a life as rich and complex as your own.
Opia: The intense sensation of eye contact—both deeply vulnerable and powerfully connective.


My dance journey began in 2018, shortly after having my third child. At nearly 30 years old, with no prior acrobatic or dance experience, I stepped into the world of movement and never looked back. What started as curiosity quickly became a passion—one that is empowering, energizing, and endlessly creative. Since then, I’ve been immersed in learning, competing, and creating, constantly pushing my own boundaries.


Now, I can’t wait to share this journey with you. Welcome to Desert Heat Pole Retreat, where movement, connection, and transformation come to life.
